My family and I had a fantastic stay at Villa Florentine! The staff was so helpful and friendly. Kevin was amazing with communication, recommendations, transportation to and from the hotel, and restaurant reservations. Kevin ensured that we enjoyed our time at Villa Florentine and in Lyon. The hotel itself is beautiful with spectacular views of the city. Our apartment was clean, spacious, and stocked with everything we could possibly need or want. The breakfast buffet was great and so convenient and the fine dining restaurant was spectacular. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel.

This wonderful property is staffed by helpful, happy people who do everything they can to make your stay pleasurable. The view is amazing with its position on the hill but with this comes the problem that to go anywhere is downhill but coming back is seriously uphill. Taxis are always an option but my wife and I chose to use the steps down into town and found it to be hard work. Of course having said this is depends on your age and fitness level. I cannot say enough about this property. The room was outstanding in every respect. The staff are a reflection of the management, they work hard and smile a lot, they are so obviously there to help their clients and a warm welcome awaits every minute of every day. If ever in Lyon, spend some time in this wonderful establishment.

Outstanding boutique hotel in prime location. Exactly as one would expect from the chain. Very historical place with great view over the city. Professional and friendly staff, thank you! Very clean and quiet. Good breakfast, you can seat outside and inside. Very good restaurant for dinner, booking is essential. Valet parking in hotel’s private garage. Try to book a room with a terrace - it will worth every penny.

A magical time, transported back in time, but with modern comforts, everything was perfect. The hotel is charming, a beautiful old building, with modern comfortable rooms (great bed) and an utterly fantastic view overlooking the old city Lyon, a feast for the eyes. The very best part was the staff, who gave above and beyond 5-star quality service. Always wanting to help, anticipating our needs, making sure we were comfortable (pampered) and having the best stay possible. The knowledgeable and caring concierge went above an beyond to advise and book wonderful meals and activities. We were greeted with so much warmth and welcome each time we entered the hotel. One of my best hotel stays ever, I will return! And I have to again stress the magical view which made our time there truly special and memorable. Thanks to all the staff who warmly welcomed us and made sure we had the best possible time!! Highly recommended!

My husband and I spent 3 wonderful nights at Villa Florentine. The location is superb, within easy walking distance of the old town and major attractions, and the views from the property and our room were spectacular! The entire team is outstanding! Everyone we met was personable, helpful and very welcoming, the manager even shared local history and tips for navigating the city. We felt appreciated and pampered. I enjoy speaking French, but everyone spoke impeccable English if that’s your preference. The hotel has loads of character and style with all of the modern conveniences, including fast and reliable WiFi. Our room was lovely, though we would have preferred a separate tub and shower (a minor inconvenience). They provided high quality toiletries. The breakfast buffet has lots of choices and great quality, the scrambled eggs are among the best we’ve ever had. You can dine outdoors on the terrace or in the serene breakfast room. The concierge parked our car when we arrived and we never had to use it again until we left. Lyon is a vibrant city and Villa Florentine is a perfect base for your explorations.
