As per the Guidelines for International Arrival published by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, 2% of the total flight passengers shall undergo random testing on arrival. Passengers shall be allowed to leave the airport post undergoing the test. Children under 12 years of age are exempted from post-arrival random testing.

COVID 19 testing facility, managed by Mahatma Gandhi Hospital (ICMR approved and NABL accredited lab) is located at International Arrival near Aerobridge 12. Registration counter and sampling booth Jaipur International Airport have the intake capacity 4000 samples per day.

In view of the guidelines published by MoCA order number 29017/14/2020-DT dated 10.05.2022 and DGCA order number 4/1/ 2020-IR dated 08.06.2022 there must be strict compliance with COVID-19 protocols at the airport and inside the aircraft. Passengers must always wear a facemask during the journey.

  • Passengers without a facemask will not be permitted to enter the terminal. CISF personnel deployed at the entrance of the Airport will ensure that no one is allowed to enter the Airport without wearing a mask. 
  • At the airport, he/ she can be fined as per the State Law and he/ she may be handed over to Security Agencies for dealing with the matter as per the applicable law on the subject.   
  • Before departure- He/ she can be deboarded.   
  • During the flight, such a passenger may be treated as “Unruly Passenger” and procedure in respect of handling such unruly passenger shall be followed by the concerned airline.

Yes, Jaipur Airport has a COVID-19 (RT-PCR) testing facility for all domestic passengers – arriving and departing. Passengers must carry their Aadhaar Card or Passport to undergo this test and can pay via cash or digitally. RT-PCR for Domestic passengers is free of cost.

Yes, a COVID-19 testing facility is available at Jaipur Airport for international passengers. Valid ID proof such as an Aadhaar Card or Passport is necessary.   The cost for this test is ₹2980 for international departures and ₹250 for international arrivals. The rates are fixed by the government. Payment can be made via cash or digital modes.

Aarogya Setu is a contact tracing, Bluetooth-based app designed to identify potential users who have come in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. It enables its registered users to be notified, traced, and suitably supported. It also indicates if a user could be infected or likely to be infected. It is not mandatory but highly recommended/advisable for everyone, including personnel working at the airport and passengers, to have the Aarogya Setu app installed on their mobile before entering the airport premises.

Passengers with a Red display on Aarogya Setu app are advised not to travel and to maintain complete isolation to mitigate any possibility of the spread of COVID-19. Please also note that passengers with a Red display on Aarogya Setu app will not be allowed to enter the airport terminal premises. However, passengers with a Green display will be allowed to enter the terminal building after completing the entry process and thermal scanning.

All international travellers coming from flights originating from the UK, Brazil and South Africa, with connecting flights, must take a mandatory RT-PCR test on arrival at Jaipur International Airport. They can only travel further after the confirmation of a negative test. They are then requested to follow the state-issued guidelines as per their next destination.

  • Availability of hand sanitisers at all touchpoints

  • Regular sanitisation of assets at all touchpoints 
  • Ensuring strict compliance with social distancing norms by the passengers and staff to minimise direct contact

The Jaipur Airport terminal has a Jio Wi-Fi network that gives you access to free internet for 60 minutes. It requires a valid Indian mobile number to access it. You can also buy a Wi-Fi network for high speed after your free access is over at a minimal cost.

If you lose something on board the aircraft (lost articles on the aircraft are kept with respective airlines), in the terminal or airport buses, please fill out the complete lost & found form on the airline website. You can also contact the lost & found centre located at the terminal or write to us at   lostandfound@adani.com

If you find something unattended/suspicious, you are advised not to touch such an object. It should be brought to the attention of the CISF or airport staff. After security clearance from the CISF, the item will be handed over to the lost & found department.

In addition, wheelchairs are available at the departure ramp of the airport. Customer Service Executives at the airport assist and guide you during the journey. In most cases, it is safe for women to travel by air with a normal pregnancy. However, a fitness certificate is required by a doctor, certifying that the pregnant lady is fit to travel by air. Women above 32 weeks of pregnancy are not allowed to travel by air. For further information, please contact your respective airline.

Most airlines allow passengers with disabilities to take their wheelchairs with them. However, it would help inform the airline about this when you book your ticket. If you have a battery-powered wheelchair, the battery will need to be disconnected to prevent the battery terminals from short-circuiting when you check in the wheelchair. It is mandatory for everyone entering the security area to go through the security check and scanner. However, the metal detectors that one goes through during the security check generate a low-frequency magnetic field to detect metal. It is comparable to an electromagnetic field generated by standard electronic household devices. Hence, passing through the security scanner poses no harm to you if you are pregnant.
