These steps should be followed at the security check before your flight-

  • Documentation: Keep your boarding pass with you at all times. If you're flying internationally, ensure you have your passport and a valid visa as well.
  • Queue Up: Stand in line and wait patiently for your turn.
  • Inspection: Take off your belts, keys, wallet, coins, precious metals, gemstones, etc. Place electronic devices and cables in a separate tray.
  • Footwear Check: You might be asked to remove your shoes for the screening process.
  • Restricted Items: Avoid bringing any flammable materials or sharp objects in your hand luggage.
