Airport is approximately 16 kilometres from the city of Siliguri in West Bengal. The Bagdogra Airport (IATA code: IXB) operates at the AFS Bagdogra of the Indian Air Force. The Central Government granted the status of a customs airport in 2002 with limited international operations.
