Fantastic guest house with lovely rooms and bathrooms (shared). Each floor had kitchen and bathrooms so never had to wait if one was occupied. I booked a double room for myself only and so it felt spacious. They had a TV with all the modern apps (netflix Disney etc) which was really nice as I had been travelling for a while and felt like a day of doing not much. The guests were quiet and respectful of the quiet time (10pm-8am). Location is excellent - less than 10min from BSI station and less than 10min to start of down town Reykjavik. There is a lovely cafe next door called coffee roasters which did decent coffee.I would definitely stay again.

Located in the heart of Reykjavik, this charming guesthouse met all our needs and then some. Spacious, clean, and well-appointed rooms met with very nice community bathrooms. A kitchen on each floor and an extra bonus upstairs viewing area with relaxing seating, another kitchen, and great views of the city. Wonderful smoothie and coffee and tea included. We really enjoyed our time here and wish we could've stayed longer.

Fantastic experience for overnight stay in Reykjavik. The owners are so lovely and helpful, providing great insight into local food, shopping for groceries etc. The room was very clean and well appointed with lovely amenities. The breakfast at the cafe was wonderful. 5 stars would definitely return!

Great location as FH is the next street over from the church. It has great views of the church. Comfortable beds, very quiet and each floor has a small kitchen. You can prepare your own meal if you like. In the lounge upstairs you can purchase snacks, wine and beer. Coffee, tea provided and they make delicious smoothies that are in frig upon your arrival. You are walking distance to all the shops and dining. The owners are very helpful. They called a taxi for us to go to sky lagoon. Also My flight got delayed a day and the owners helped me get my bus ticket changed to the next day and they had a room available for me to stay another night. Highly recommend.

We had such an amazing time at Freyja Guest Suites! We only stayed for one night since we had a layover in Iceland but we already want to come back and stay at Freyja again. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! We talked to the woman in the office quite a bit and got so many recommendations and friendly chatter. It’s right next to a beautiful church and very easy to get around whether it’s by walking or by bus! We will definitely be back and stay at Freyja again! 😊
