The hotel has a great location near the park and subway station. The service is good(however it would be better to improve the staff's English speaking skills). The biggest problem is the room we had. What was good: the room has a small fridge, coffee machine,coffee pods, bottles of water. It was quiet. But it's not comfortable inside(maybe the comment is relevant during winter time only). It's overheated and too warm, we couldn't control the temperature. In our case we had to cover hot air flow holes with cloths to decrease a temperature just a bit. We couldn't open the room window to get cool and fresh air from outside. The mattress and pillows were really hard and we didn't have a choice, our back and neck were in pain a bit every morning.

Rooms are small and dated but this is reflected in the price. Location is very close to the metro station and only a few stops from Sapporo city centre. Would stay here again. Edit: another review mentioned you couldn't control the room temperature, this is incorrect and the controls for the heater are beside the bed in the lighting control panel.

First of all, the location of the hotel is great. It is on the busiest road in Sapporo. It is very close to Sapporo Station and nearby attractions. It is very convenient whether you walk or take public transportation. Secondly, the service is very good. The hotel lobby is spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff will help you take your luggage to your room. The four of us don't need to carry our luggage. I am very satisfied. The space in the room is also good. We have two large suitcases and two small ones, but we didn't feel that there was not enough space at all. The best thing is that the price is very cheap. We booked three months in advance and got a price far lower than that of a hotel of the same quality in our country.

Very elegant, historical building. We found our room to be warmer than we would have liked. There was no way to cool down the ropm but the reception was able to assist by lending us an electric fan. All staff were helpful and spoke great English. I can imagine that some guests might find the staff somewhat intimidating. Location is great and is a walkable distance from many things around Sapporo or a few train stations away from JR Sapporo station.
