- Due to the lack of sleep on our overnight flight, my husband and I were exhausted by the time we got to Reykjavik. After storing our luggage away with the staff, my husband ended up passing out on a sofa in the reception area of Sunna Guesthouse despite it being 10am... We really appreciated how nice and understanding the staff was about the situation, letting us stay there to recuperate until our room was ready. - We got a basic double bedroom with a shared bathroom and I thought it was a really good price. The room was nice and clean and they provided us with towels for showering and some hand towels by the sink in our room. The shared bathroom was equally nice and clean. Every day, staff would come in and re-make our bed/replaced our towels. I did not expect this since it seemed like a hostel type of place, but I definitely appreciated it. - Bus Stop #8 was a block or two away right by Hallgrimskirkja, so the location was very convenient for traveling purposes. The hot water smells like eggs, but I've heard that was a thing. - Overall, excellent stay! Highly recommend!!

Reasonable priced great location breakfast was average European service is good. Some rooms are like a hostel with shared showers and bathrooms. My room had a private bathroom good-sized room and daily maid service

Excellent place for the price. Rooms have own water tap and a place to wash your teeth but no bathroom. Shared bathrooms were very clean and adequate. The reception is not always open, but it was good enough for us.
