Amazing place. Clean, comfortable, cozy and pretty. Had TV and great heaters. Access to kitchen, super easy. Breakfast was great. Loads to choose and super clean. Staff friendly. Location, better impossible. Parking right on the door and free. The best place out of the all of them we have been.

No complaints, clean rooms. Breakfast was great with meat, Cheese, skyr, bread, pastries, cereals/granola, fresh fruit and veg, juice and hot drinks. Lovely seating area and outside garden. Walking distance to everything. Shared bathrooms were clean and never had issues.

We loved our stay here. If we return to Iceland this will be the place. Quiet, cozy, and safe!! Excellent breakfast!! Perfect location.

Stayed here for 5 nights with 4 others. We stayed in four different rooms. We were given a double room in the attic. Only realised on arrival it is a teeny tiny twin room with a low ceiling and we had to share the bathroom with three other rooms on our floor. Just a head up to people who plan to book here, you need to be mindful, not many rooms come with private bathrooms. We had to call the owner afterward as we have requested a double bedroom not a twin room, they came and put the two beds together. I notice from the first night that the shower drain was severely blocked, two minutes into the shower you will see your feet are soaked completely as the drain was congested. On my third night's stay, after a couple used the bathroom, I went in to use the bathroom and the entire floor was flooded. No cleaner or staff on duty, I cleaned by myself using some old towels to soak up the water on the floor. My peer also didn't have a good experience during the stay when the heater stopped working on the first night and it was freezing cold December. The good things about this place, I would say budget, good location, good breakfast, and nice friendly staff (the gentleman owner, the two maids who usually prepare the breakfast and cleaning). But other than that I did not have restful nights of sleep in that tiny twin room in the attic, not only feeling very cramped but the mattress was very uncomfortable. Overall, when I return to Iceland next time, I would rather pay more for a better-maintained guesthouse/hotel than stay here again.

Boy oh boy this guesthouse is great! Typically don’t write good experiences but these guys deserve a great review. Very easy instructions were given. When I arrived I noticed the guesthouse was very conveniently located near most major city attractions. The family room was clean and comfortable. I had an incident where I was locked out of my car and left the physical keys to the room in the car. It was in the middle of the night. I contacted the guesthouse owners and they helped me out. I didn’t think they would answer. (Communication is stellar) They went above and beyond. Breakfast was really good, fresh and felt homelike. I felt welcome. HIGHLY recommend:)
