Prepaid Taxis are available at both Terminals – Domestic and International. Fares are RTO approved. A number of private taxi providers and car rentals are available as well. One can find counters of these providers at the arrival area of terminals.
Bus stops are spread all over the city at regular distances. Bus routes are numbered and the signs indicate the origin and destination of the buses.
Commonly referred to as local trains, Mumbai trains have three different lines- the Western Line, the Central Main Line, and the Harbour Line. This extensive network reaches to almost all parts of the city and the suburbs and is the most preferred way to commute amongst the people of Mumbai.
Auto rickshaw is a three wheeler vehicle. This metered mode of public transport operates only in the suburbs – From Borivili to Bandra in the western suburbs and till Sion in the central suburbs fare conversion.
